Welcome to my page!
I work as postdoctoral researcher at the Department of
Mathematics, University of Göttingen, in the group of Mathematical Physics.
In my reserach, I am particularly interested in the Batalin-Vilkovisky quantization1
and in study of gauge theories2 in the framework of noncommutative geometry3.

  1. Based on the concept of ghost fields, the BV formalism is used to quantise gauge theories via a perturbative approach to the path integral.

  2. A gauge theory is a physical theory endowed with some internal symmetries, which do not impact on the experimental results but which appear in the mathematical formulation of the theory.

  3. While in the classical geometrical setting the basic objects are the points and the coordinates charts around them, the NCG approach sees the geometric space as encoded in its algebra of coordinates. With the classical objects corresponding to the commutative case, by dropping the commutativity condition one finds purely ”quantum” models. ↩︎
